Wholesale Market Analyst

Wholesale Marketing Analyst for E.M.D. Sales, Inc, a food product distribution corporation located in Landover, MD.

Position requires MS in marketing or business administration plus 1 year of experience in analyzing and formulating marketing strategies for import, wholesale and distribution of ethnic food products. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.  5+ year of experience are acceptable as substitution of the MS.

Duties:

Analyze and formulate market strategies for import, wholesale and distribution of ethnic food products. Specific duties include: analyze consumer purchasing patterns; provide market intelligence to expand catalog of products; conduct feasibility status to assess economic feasibility of new product introduction; conduct studies about existing and prospective new channels of distribution; and maintain database, prepare reports, recommendations, surveys, and presentations.

Compensation is commensurate with academic background and experience.
